Symptoms
On : HCM 9.2 Pi 15 (FSCM 9.2 Pi 15), Approval Framework (AWE) for Fluid Approvals
The Application Engine (AE) Process DC_EOAW_SUMM, delivered with the HCM 9.2 PUM 15, has run for 10+ hours. It appears to be hung on the DC_EOAW_SUMM.Main.Insert2(Peoplecode) step.
This is too long to run for implementation, what is the functionality of this SQL and how can this be fine tuned?

Expect that no AE conversion programs delivered with HCM/FSCM 9.2 PUM 15 should take so long to run.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Implement HCM 9.2(or FSCM) Pi 15.
2. Observe that the DC_EOAW_SUMM data conversion program was selected to run.
3. Observe that the program appears to be hung, taking over 10+ hours to run, on the DC_EOAW_SUMM.Main.Insert2(Peoplecode) step which is running this code;

Goal
How best to approach the Archiving of the Approval Framework (AWE) row in the USERINST (PS_PTAFAW_USERINST, for 9.0 or PS_EOAW_USERINST for 9.1 Applications)?
Noticing performance issues with AWE and discovered 1,700,000 rows of data. Assumption made is these rows are slowing down performance.
